Job Summary: Contributes to the fulfillment of the Hospital’s mission and vision by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant financial information for review by all levels of management. Monitors actual financial results against budgets and develops short-term and long-term financial projections. Coordinates the maintenance of the Hospital charge master to ensure its accuracy and compliance with all regulatory standards. Evaluates regulatory changes and payer policies and makes recommendations on modifications to the charging process.

Duties:

Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Summary: Directs the development and implementation of effective programs to manage the occupancy and use, repair and renovation of the Hospital's buildings and grounds, utilities service, and other facility support services. Ensures a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff.

  • Demonstrates initiative in completing assigned work in addition to meeting the emergent needs of user departments. Assesses and identifies appropriate repair options, application of in-house resources, and repair priorities to minimize service disruptions. Demonstrates effective use of time management skills in coordinating and completing work with coworkers or contractor personnel to ensure processes and efforts are meeting established performance measures.
  • The HVAC Technician reports to the supervisor of Plant Operations. The HVAC Technician is accountable for managing assigned tasks, routines and projects to meet productivity and quality standards established by the Maintenance Department. The HVAC Technician monitors indoor environments of temperature and humidity variances, lighting outages, damage to building envelop and interior finishes, and infraction of life safety code compliance for the continual and safe operation of the Hospital.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in keeping department supervision informed of work load, scheduling conflicts, and/or service interruptions; providing relevant and timely feedback on corrective actions, potential impact to patient care services, and recommended alternatives. Communicates effectively with user department staff regarding service interruptions or potential interruptions, repair status and project updates, and project completion.
  • Abides by and ensures all compliance measures and policies are followed. Monitors "self" to ensure safe work practices are followed, such as: use/storage of flammable liquids / materials, caustic or corrosive products, electrical and machine lock out / tag procedures, and use of personal protective equipment. In addition, ensures coworkers, contractors and vendors are following compliance regulations and Hospital policies throughout assigned work areas.
  • Can read / retrieve accurate information from building blue prints (e.g., code footprint, electrical/utility, plumbing drawings) in preparation to making repairs to building systems, demolition of walls, ceiling, and flooring structures. In addition, can read / retrieve accurate information from product labeling and manufacturer specifications and material safety data sheets.

Job Title: Clinic Quality Analyst
Job Summary: The Clinic Quality Analyst will serve as the primary EHR support for McPherson Hospital clinic staff. The Analyst will work as a key member of the support team to build, maintain, test, and train as needed to assure successful implementation of any new processes and provide ongoing support. The Clinic Quality Analyst will be responsible for all quality reporting for McPherson Hospital clinic providers.

  • Documents concerns, findings, and actions, implementing appropriate plan of care related to patient's diagnosis for continuity of care
  • Provide appropriate direct patient care in the hospital by obtaining and documenting vital signs, documenting nursing assessment and assisting physician with examinations and procedures as needed to provide medical care to patients.
  • Communicates pertinent information related to patients condition to inform doctors, additional staff nurses and/or ancillary departments of patients needs and/or plan of care.
  • Perform waived lab tests, document results, administer vaccinations and injections as ordered by physician as part of patient care plan.
  • Current RN license in the state of Kansas
  • Hospital/Clinic experience required


Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Job Summary: The surgical technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Shift: Days Plus Call
Hours: PRN
Job Requirements Include:

  • Gathers, checks and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure.
  • Performs the surgical scrub, and donning gown and gloves.
  • Sets up the sterile back table and stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure.
  • Performs initial instrument, sharps and sponge counts with the circulator.
  • Assists the team members with gowning and gloving.
  • Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field.
  • Participates in the surgical site and patient verification during the time out procedure.
  • Prepares and anticipates additional instrumentation, equipment and supplies for usage during the procedure.
  • Minimum of one to two years’ experience in the operating room environment preferred.
  • Certification as a Surgical Tech preferred.

Urgent Care

Job Title: Admitting Representative
Shift: Days, Evenings and Saturdays- 12 hour shifts
Hours: Full-Time/72 hours every 2 weeks
Job Requirements Include:

  • Ensures that each patient registration or pre-registration is complete and accurate
  • Greet every patient and visitor to determine if they need assistance and present a favorable first impression
  • Attends to all patients promptly and courteously to create good customer relations
  • Notify all appropriate personnel of call changes to keep the physician call schedule up-to-date.
  • Identifies and makes corrections to master patient registration records.
  • One to two years with customer service experience and general computer skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
