The radiology department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to serve all of your scheduled and
unscheduled diagnostic imaging needs. Certified technicians can perform a comprehensive array of imaging exams

All studies must have a physicians order.
Our comprehensive services include:
- General radiology and cardiology - Do
you have a cough? We can do a chest X-ray. Are you having
heart problems? We can provide electrocardiograms (EKG's).

- CT Scan - Our GE Ultra CT Scanner yields
high quality, detailed cross sectional images of any part
of the body with lightening speed. Achieving rapid images for your
doctor are easily accomplished with this technology.
- Ultrasound - From pre-birth to old age,
our ultrasound equipment is here to serve you. We offer
OB sonograms, heart imaging, abdominal/pelvic sonography
and blood flow imaging from your neck to your toes.
- Mammography - Choose any time between
7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to utilize the modern computer-aided
detection system. Our mammography equipment is FDA certified
and ready to provide today's busy woman with the most accurate
results quickly and efficiently. All results are reviewed
by a board certified radiologist.
- Bone Density Scans - No bones about it,
as you grow older your bones can become weak and brittle.
This condition, known as osteoporosis, can be easily recognized
and treated. Our GE Lunar bone density scanner can quickly
indicate whether or not you have osteoporosis or are at
risk for any fractures.
- Fluoroscopy - Using real-time moving
imagery fluoroscopy, we can help your doctor diagnose all
kinds of ailments from digestive tract problems to urinary
system disorders. In surgery, we use a C-ARM that can be used to
guide surgeons through many procedures.
- MRI - McPherson Hospital has mobile MRI
services available four days a week - M, T, TH and F. This imaging system
produces images using magnetic fields and computer systems
to create high-tech digital images.
- Nuclear medicine - Nuclear energy can
be harnessed and used in a variety of techniques to diagnose
and treat disease. Techniques using nuclear energy in medical
sciences have the unique ability to show bodily functions
quickly and accurately. A radiopharmaceutical is administered
to the patient, usually through intravenous injection, which
can be detected and observed as it travels throughout the
body where it is specifically concentrated in a given tissue
or organ. This allows the studying of specific body systems.
