Mission Statement

The McPherson Hospital Employee PRIDE Fund shall promote the continued excellence of McPherson Hospital by procuring and  recommending expenditures of funds for the maintenance, expansion and development of McPherson Hospital’s healthcare services and facility. 

About PRIDE

Since its inception, the McPherson Hospital Employee PRIDE Fund has purchased equipment totaling $56,920 from funds donated by our dedicated employees for the enhancement of McPherson Hospital. Committed to the principals set forth by the hospital providing professional healthcare to all that enter the facility, employees believe it is extremely important to give back to an organization that is vital to maintaining the quality of life in McPherson.

The PRIDE Fund represents employees' dollars and thoughts. The PRIDE Committee comprises employees from several departments within the hospital. Each member of this committee is dedicated to listening to employees' thoughts for the enhancement of McPherson Hospital.

The PRIDE Committee reviews all suggestions brought forth by McPherson Hospital employees. Projects or services selected by the PRIDE Committee, with McPherson Hospital Administration approval, will be announced each April. Suggestions may be submitted to any PRIDE Committee member prior to April 1.

How to Contribute to the PRIDE Fund

To demonstrate your pride, you may print our online brochure and fill out the attached pledge card and return it to any PRIDE Committee member. You may choose to make a one-time gift, an annual gift or the most common contribution, a designated amount each payday. The amount of your gift may be deducted from your paycheck by indicating this on the pledge card.

Completed PRIDE Fund Projects

  • Completed in 2003, PRIDE Park features beautiful garden areas along with picnic tables and umbrellas for employees to enjoy those warm and wonderful spring, summer, and crisp fall days.
  • New window treatments were installed in all patient rooms on third Floor Med/Surg and ICU in 2004.
  • In 2005, a canopy was installed over the east entrance and the Employee Appreciation Lounge was redecorated with paint, pictures, new carpet, and new furniture.
  • In the fall of 2006, a new canopy was installed at the South East Annex entrance as a courtesy to those patients who wait for transportation.
  • Adjustable chair for the lab
  • Electrotherapy point stimulator for the physical therapy department
  • New printer for payroll
